[THE EVENT]
Join us for an immersive ecological gardening event through Tower Grove Park and Tower Grove Heights. Our journey begins with a visit to the South Grand Business District, where we'll explore the aesthetic and practical benefits of plantings designed for water runoff management. We'll then stroll through the Tower Grove Heights neighborhood, visiting several front lawns transformed into native plant havens.
The event culminates back in Tower Grove Park with a look at the stream restoration project, which showcases native plantings. Along the way, we’ll discuss key topics such as the principles of ecological gardening, the impact of habitat and biodiversity loss, and the crucial role native plants play in urban environments. Learn about the benefits of native plants, how they support wildlife, and practical steps to start your own ecological garden, complete with resources and tips.
This event is free and open to the public. Let us know if you are coming or have any questions.
