A Leap day occurs once every four years. It is added to the calendar to keep the year synchronized with the astronomical year. On a day that exists to balance our counting of time, it seems fitting to question how we are viewing “time” in the first place.
Time is an experience in which we can see its effects. We count it down or up, measure it, and track it. A chef, an astrophysicist, a Buddhist, or a teacher will probably think of time very differently. This “Time Capsule” event is an invitation to share your perspective and hear from others.
Join us this Leap Day, February 29, for a collective discussion on “Time.”
This will be “Show & Tell” style, meaning if you would like to share, please bring an object, a theory, an experience, or an idea to share with others.
We hope to have a unique conversation highlighting the many perceptions and understandings of “Time.”
