EXPED USA, based in Tacoma, WA, is the sole subsidiary of EXPED AG in Zurich, Switzerland. EXPED makes award-winning sleeping mats, tents, packs, and sleeping bags that are crafted to deliver comfort anywhere and help our customers thrive in the outdoors, not merely survive. Andi and Heidi Brun, founders of EXPED, spent nine months in the Canadian wilderness in 1981, living off the land with minimal means. That experience has had its share in bringing EXPED to where it stands today. Over the past 20 years, EXPED has created numerous innovations and been honored with many industry awards.
